How to Post Your Parking Requirements

1. Detail Your Needs

Specify your required location, budget, vehicle size, and any security preferences you have.

2. Get Notified

Once your requirement is live, space owners with matching spots will be alerted and can review your request.

3. Secure Your Spot

Owners will reach out to you directly. Discuss terms, visit the location, and finalize your parking arrangement.

How finding a space works

Search your area on the map. Each listing shows the owner's monthly rent, which cars fit and whether the space is covered.

Contact the owner. Contacting a listing is free. Ask your questions and arrange to see the space.

Agree the terms directly. Rent, deposit and notice period are agreed between you and the owner, and you pay the owner directly. TheParkingWorld does not collect rent or charge commission.

Nothing nearby? Post your requirement with your area and budget, so owners nearby can find you.

Typical monthly rents

What owners are asking in the cities with the most spaces:

City	Spaces listed	Median asking rent
Kolkata	385	₹3,000 / month
Bangalore	334	₹2,999 / month
Chennai	199	₹2,500 / month
Hyderabad	128	₹2,500 / month
Pune	36	₹1,500 / month
Mumbai	24	₹5,000 / month
Delhi	22	₹3,000 / month
Secunderabad	5	₹1,800 / month

Calculated live from the spaces listed on TheParkingWorld. Rents are what owners ask; the final rent is agreed between owner and driver.

Before you rent

See the spot before you pay. Visit at the time you will normally park and leave, and check how easy it is to get in and out, especially in a shared basement or a narrow lane.

Measure against your car. Listings say "Any car" or "Small car". If you drive an SUV or a long sedan, check the width of the bay, pillars on either side and the height of any ramp or gate.

Ask about access hours. Some buildings lock gates at night or restrict entry on certain days. Make sure the hours suit your work or travel.

Check permission in apartment buildings. Many housing societies have rules about letting parking to non-residents. Ask the owner whether the society or association allows it, so you are not asked to leave later.

Agree the terms in writing. Write down the monthly rent, any deposit, the notice period on both sides, and what happens if the space is unavailable. A simple signed agreement avoids most disputes.

Pay the owner directly and keep receipts. On TheParkingWorld, rent and deposit are settled between you and the owner; TheParkingWorld does not collect rent or charge commission. Prefer traceable payments such as UPI or bank transfer.

Think about the monsoon. For open plots and low-lying basements, ask whether water collects during heavy rain.
